TOUR YORK'S CODO 28 ON SEPTEMBER 29Print Page

September 29, 2010 - 11:30am - 1:30pm

Our Central Pennsylvania Council invites you to tour Phase 2 of Codo 28 - a LEED-certified adaptive reuse project in downtown York which tackled one of the last remaining and most-challenging vacant and dilapidated buildings in the area. Codo 28 includes 11 additional high-end apartments which maximize square footage on a long, narrow alley-facing building. Our tour will be followed by lunch and a brief presentation on the financing of the project which included the use of historic tax credits, with an emphasis on York's new Downtown Renaissance Fund - a new community-based patient-capital equity fund.

The tour and presentation will be led by Eric Menzer, Manager, Codo Development Group; with assistance from Bill Swartz, President of co-developer Sherman Property Management; and Frank Dittenhafer, Principal with Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects. Join us on September 29th from 11:30-1:30 for tour, program and lunch. Meet at 28 N. George Street in York. Special thanks to sponsors Wagman Construction and Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects. This Roundtable and Tour is limited to 30 ULI members and guests.
