Designers present new concepts for building visitable, market-rate housing in Philadelphia, ther results of a full-day design charrette. A panel of experts in design and physical planning, public policy, construction, real estate development, and advocacy review design concepts that address the urban design question: How can visitable, market-rate housing fit seamlessly into neighborhoods in Philadelphia and other older American cities?
Panelists include Brett Altman, Allied Construction; Cecil Baker, AIA, Cecil Baker + Partners; The Honorable Jannie Blackwell, Philadelphia City Council; Bruce Connus, Liberty Housing Development Corporation; Alan Greenberger, AIA, City of Philadelphia; The Honorable Curtis Jones, Jr., Philadelphia City Council; Eleanor Smith, Concrete Change; and Lisa Yaffe, Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. Deborah McColloch, Director of the Philadelphia Office of Housing and Community Development, will moderate.
