Community gardening is alive and well in University City at some of the oldest, largest, and most scenic gardens in the city.
Sunday, September 19 is your day to wander among them, learning about gardening and discovering ideas for your own vegetable patch or front yard.
As you do, make sure to stop and participate in one of the seven different workshops on fascinating topics like bee keeping and edible landscaping. At all of the sites on the map, a gardener will be available to answer your questions, and to encourage you to start gardening, if you’re not already doing it!
At 4:00PM on the 19th, join us at the Woodlands Mansion for the presentation of the annual Inspirational Garden Awards to some of the most beautiful gardens in University City!
