Did you know that before the 1930's, Queen Village was once home to 23 Synagogues? Or, that there were once about 25 large factory buildings between Front Street and Delaware Avenue? Over the course of time, the fabric of our neighborhood has changed.
As a part of the development of a revised Statement of Significance, Preservation Architect Terry Necciai will make a presentation about the history, development, and significance of the Southwark Neighborhood.
This event is being sponsored by the Queen Village Neighbors Association, The Southwark Historical Society, and the Historic Preservation Committee of the Philadelphia Chapter of the AIA.
