A Guide's View of Philadelphia Lecture Series: Introduction and Philadelphia Overview

Introduction and Philadelphia Overview, with Ken Hinde, consultant and director of tours at The Foundation for Architecture

Now in its third year, the eight-part lecture series features the Philadelphia region's top experts in history, culture, politics and architecture. This year's program also includes three Sunday workshops on tour guiding techniques, where certified guides from the association share their expertise and skills.

Although the lecture series was developed as part of APT's tour guide certification program, you do not have to be a member of the association to attend the lectures. Nor do you have to be an association member to attend the three-part Tour Guiding Techniques Workshops. You also have the option of registering for individual lectures only or the workshops only. Those who register for the entire lecture series are automatically enrolled in the Tour Guiding Techniques Workshops.

Register online at: www.phillyguides.org/APTstore.aspx or send a check, made out to APT, to The Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides, ℅ Del Connor, Physick House, 321 S. 4th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

For more information about the Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides, the lecture program or tour guide certification, please contact Bob Skiba, APT president at president@phillyguides.org
