Northwest Victim Services (NVS) will be hosting a fundraiser on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Chart House from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. The event, titled, “An Enchanted Evening on the River with NVS,” will feature food, music, a silent auction, and the opportunity to win a variety of raffle items, including tickets to a show.
This night of glamour, dancing, and food will help raise money to support NVS.
NVS provides invaluable support to victims of crimes in the 5th, 14th, 35th, and 39th Police Districts and has served the neighborhoods of Germantown, Mount Airy, Roxborough, East Falls, Manayunk, and Chestnut Hill for 36 years. Its services are offered at no cost to victims. To date, it has helped over 25,000 residences and businesses, truly cementing its role as a community partner.
“Northwest Victim Services offers everything from information to advocacy services to accompaniment services,” said Executive Director, Melany P. Nelson. “We truly rely on generous donations from our community partners to help us give back and support our brothers and sisters during an especially difficult period in their lives.”
Tickets to the event are $50 and can be purchased online. There are sponsorship and donation opportunities available for businesses, and local businesses can gain exposure through these partnerships.
