Residents are encouraged to attend this meeting with the Philadelphia Water Department to review the final design plan for green stormwater improvements at the Wharton Square Recreation Center and park.
The projects being designed are a part of Philadelphia’s nationally renowned Green City, Clean Waters program, which uses landscaped green tools to protect local waterways from stormwater pollution and improve neighborhoods.
Residents can help shape these green stormwater tools by providing information what types of trees and plants they prefer and letting engineers and planners know more about how local streets and parks are used.
This is a rain-or-shine event.
