Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show and 18th Street Outdoor Cafe
Rittenhouse Square, Friday, September 16-Sunday, September 18. Yes, the Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show will run all weekend with more than 140 artists selling their work. On Saturday from 11am-10pm, the block of 18th Street from Locust to Walnut will close and become a giant outdoor cafe courtesy of Rouge, Devon and Parc. The art show opens each day at 11am, and closes Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 6pm, and Sunday at 5pm.
It's MY River
Washington Avenue Green, at Washington Avenue and the Delaware River. Saturday, September 17, 10am-Noon. The Friends of Washington Avenue Green, will host an “eco-fest” that includes contests and crafts for kids and “unique photo opportunities.” Staff from the Wissahickon Environmental Center and Philadelphia Horticultural Society will be on hand to teach families about the Delaware River and its health. Free.
Clark Park Fall Equinox Festival
Saturday, September 17, Noon-Sundown. Clark Park, 43rd Street and Chester Avenue.  Mark the start of fall in Clark Park with an afternoon of free concerts by 10 bands and more than 40 artists and vendors. Follow the event on twitter: @ClarkParkFest. Free.
Feria del Barrio
Sunday, September 18, 12-6pm. Centro de Oro, North 5th Street, between Lehigh and Cambria avenues. Feria del Barrio is one of Philadelphia’s largest celebrations of Latino arts and culture. The annual Feria del Barrio brings together thousands of community residents from throughout the Greater Philadelphia region for a free family event featuring some of the world’s most renowned musical artists. Free.
