City Hall Crack Repairs Underway, Second Crack Found
A significant crack in City Hall tower was found last month, prompting the suspension of tower tours. This week, contractors have been on site, repairing the crack on the northern clocktower balcony by pinning the marble. Today Fox29 is reporting that contractors they have identified a second crack at the same level on the tower’s west side which will be fixed next week. (Video below.) The cracks and are being attributed to this summer’s earthquake.
