A second batch of Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) properties will be auctioned Wednesday, December 7 at First District Plaza, 3801 Market Street.
The last auction drew hundreds of people to bid on groups of properties, upsetting neighbors
who were interested in opportunities to purchase individual buildings. PHA made $7 million at the auction.
This time 100 properties will be offered individually, so it is possible non-developers could stand a better chance. As with the first auction, these properties are largely concetrated in western North Philadelphia neighborhoods, but there are also scattered sites throughout the city.
Real estate auction company Max Spann is hosting this auction
