Frankford Central United Methodist Church demolition imminent

The last year has not been kind to Frankford’s Central United Methodist Church. Back in August the church’s west wall collapsed leaving a gaping hole in the building, and then thieves made off with stained glass windows. Now the Northeast Times reports that the city has made arrangements for the church’s demolition. The church is owned by Frankford Group Ministry, which will not be able to sell the property until the city is repaid for the cost of demolition.
