Tuesday, April 10, 6-8pm. Race Street Pier, Race Street and North Columbus Boulevard. This month the Friends of Race Street Pier will meet up to garden (bring gloves and tools) and discuss plans for summertime events at the Pier.

Building Philadelphia: Immigration to the City

Tuesday, April 10, 6-9:30pm. Center for Architecture, 1218 Arch Street. Building Philadelphia: Architecture, History & Politics is a 10-part lecture series by local scholars, running every Tuesday from March 6-May 8. This week Caroline Golab discusses immigration to the city. Individual lectures cost $25, $20 for members, or $15 for students. Register online.

Homeowner Workshop: Window Maintenance and Repair

Tuesday, April 10, 6:30-8pm. WES Health Center, 1315 Windrim Avenue. Learn about the best ways to repair and maintain historic windows as part of the Preservation Alliance‘s Homeowner’s Workshop Series in Logan this spring. Urban Bike Riding Classes

Thursday, April 12, 6-7:30pm. Thomas Jefferson University, 10th and Locust, Hamilton Building, Room 224. Interested in learning how to bike in the city?
