City Council gave its support for the William Way Senior Residences, an LGBT-centric senior housing development planned for 13th Street, by approving the sale of the Redevelopment Authority’s property to the development team. PlanPhilly’s Kellie Patrick Gates discussed the project with gay-rights activist Mark Segal and Pennrose Properties’ Jacob Fisher. The developers will present the project to Washington Square West Civic on May 22.

The deadbeat Lichtensteins have entered into a payment agreement with the city for back-taxes owed at the Buck Factory site, reports Philadelinquency. There’s also a juicy lawyer-lawsuit sideshow against the Lichtensteins for unpaid legal fees.
