Vive la Rodin
The Rodin Museum reopens this weekend after months of careful restoration work. Back in May I got a peek inside during the tail end of the restoration process and this morning I passed through again as part of a press preview. The building’s careful conservation aimed to fully restore the galleries to their original appearance, as conceived by Paul Cret. Everything looks refreshed, but the experience is thoroughly familiar – even if some sculptures have moved. Here’s what the Rodin Museum looks like today:
