Thursday was the deadline to submit applications to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board for Philadelphia's second casino license. PlanPhilly's Kellie Patrick Gates reports that six teams threw their hats in the ring. Of the six applicants, three are on Packer Avenue in the Stadium District. Here are the applicants:

Wynn Philadelphia: Wynn PA Inc., Beach and Richmond streets
The Provence: Tower Investments, Broad and Callowhill
[unnamed]: Market East Associates, 8th and Market
Live! Hotel and Casino: Stadium Casino LLC, 900 Packer Avenue
Hollywood Casino Philadelphia: PA Gaming Ventures, 700 Packer Avenue
Casino Revolution: PHL Local Gaming, 3333 South Front Street
