Celebrate the Year of the Snake and learn about how the Lunar New Year is celebrated throughout Asia at this annual, daylong extravaganza in the China Gallery. It's a family-friendly day featuring performances, martial and healing arts demonstrations, and folk tales, culminating wtih a drum roll and lion dance parade. Sunday, February 3, three sessions from 10am-7pm. Fleisher Art Memorial, 719 Catharine Street. Fleisher's 13th annual Print Love-In offers an introduction to printmaking including lithography, silkscreening, and wood and linoleum blocks. Practice beginner printmaking (no experience necessary) by making Valentine's Day cards. Sessions 1 (10am) and 2 (1pm) are open to ages 5 and up (children must be accompanied by an adult). Session 3 (5pm) is limited to adults 21 and over. Register in advance, space is limited. $10 per person.
