Apply for Citizens Planning Institute spring session

Calling all Citizen Planners: Join other engaged residents interested in learning how city planning, zoning, and development processes work and what citizens can do to shape the future of their neighborhoods by participating in the Citizens Planning Institute.

Applications [pdf] are being accepted from now until March 26 for the Citizens Planning Institute spring session (April 10 – May 15). Classes run on Wednesday evenings from 6-9pm in Center City. The core course of three sessions – held April 10, 17, and 24 – costs $40 (including supper) plus each elective session costs $20. This session’s electives will focus on commercial corridor revitalization, building organizational capacity, and the city’s Capital Budget program.
