Lecture | Anne Krulikowski: The Meadows Neighborhood in Southwest Philadelphia: Recovering a Lost Landscape

Monday, March 18th, 6pm, PennDesign, Meyerson Hall, 210 South 34th Street. Join Anne Krulikowski for a discussion about the evolution of southwest Philadelphia as it transition from farmland into residential neighborhoods, which were in turn ultimately demolished in the 1960s and 1970s. Krulikowski teaches at Dickinson College, West Chester University, and the University of Delaware.

Stephen Benz, OLIN’s Director of Green Infrastructure will present an educational session exploring historical approaches to landscape systems as a model for today’s implementation of green infrastructure and how thinking about sustainable sites beyond site boundaries is broadly beneficial. $20, $10 for ASLA/AIA members.
