Monday, June 17, doors open at 5:30pm, program begins at 6pm. Center for Architecture, 1218 Arch Street. The Planning Commission will highlight aspects of the final versions of the Central and University/Southwest District Plans, Pearl Properties’ Jim Pearlstein will offer a developer’s perspective, and this spring’s Citizen’s Planning Institute graduates will be honored. Free. Seating is limited.

VOICE Zoning Code Feedback Sessions

Wednesday, June 19, Noon-1pm and Friday, June 21, 8-9am. One Parkway Building, 1515 Arch St, 18th Floor, Room 18029. The Planning Commission is soliciting public feedback on the new zoning code that went into effect in August 2012. Feedback sessions are designed to elicit opinions from anyone who has used the zoning code in the last year. What is working better? What still needs to be revised and improved?  Each group is limited to 30 participants per session and designed to be interactive. RSVP online.

FEAST Night Market West Oak Lane

Thursday, June 20th, 6pm – 10pm, 72nd Street and Ogontz Avenue. The Food Trust’s Night Market is back for its second installment of the year. There will be 45 food trucks, craft beer, live music, and an opportunity to share stories and recipes of heirloom foods in the Messages in Motion video van.

WATCH ‘Despicable Me’

Thursday, June 20, 8pm. Grays Ferry Crescent Esplanade, by Schuylkill Ave and Wharton Street. Bring a picnic and watch a movie along the Grays Ferry Crescent starting at dusk. The screen will be set up on the paved esplanade area along the rive. Come early for a free pre-movie raffle for Philadelphia Runner gift cards and free snacks and beverages while they last.
