The Bicycle Coalition has issued a call asking cyclists to report potholes in bike lanes. The Coalition will compile a list of locations and share the list with the Streets Department, which will work on repairs.
There are three ways to report a pothole:
If you do report a pothole, be sure to include the numbered block of the location, i.e. 300 block of Spruce Street. Photos are not necessary, but they may be helpful.
The Streets Department has filled more than 20,600 potholes since Jan. 1, and while the city's streets endured a rough winter this year, Mayor Nutter has proposed boosting the Streets Department paving budget to $16 million in 2015.
