Volunteers are patching the holes in Point Breeze’s crumbling 19th Street Baptist Church, a Frank Furness-designed church in dire shape, working against the clock and the elements to save the building before it’s too far gone.

Talk megaprojects and sing eminent domain blues at Penn this month with In the Footprint: The Battle for Atlantic Yards, a high-drama docu-musical about a controversial Brooklyn development at the Annenberg Center (1/18-1/28), and two panel discussions organized by PennDesign about megaprojects and balancing social good(1/17 and 1/31).
