The "Golden Block," sidewalks along Fifth Street between Lehigh and Allegheny Avenues, will be repaved and repainted gold, the Inquirer's Vanessa Martinez reports.

The $3.8 million revitilization project, 10 years in-the-making, Martinez writes, will also have installed metal palm trees, new benches, planters and more, along the North Philadelphia blocks. For more details, read the entire story at philly.com.
