Named for the estate of Robert Waln Ryerss which today is Burholme Park, is located in Northeast Philadelphia adjacent to Fox Chase, and the suburbs of Cheltenham and Abington Township. Its presentday identity is most noted by Burholme Park itself - a 60 acre tract of open green space accented by a 19th century Italianate mansion which today is a library and museum - plus the Burholme Water Tower which stands alongside this park.
