ABOUT CECIL B MOORE

Cecil B Moore is situated between North Broad Street to the east and North 22nd Street to the west, West Jefferson Street to the south and West Montgomery Ave to the north. This neighborhood is named for Cecil Bassett Moore who was a Philadelphia lawyer and civil rights activist who led the fight to integrate Girard College.
