East Falls, Wissahickon, Manayunk, Central Roxborough, Upper Roxborough, Andorra, Shawmont Valley.
Well-known for trendy shopping and dining in Manayunk and East Falls, the Lower Northwest also boasts stable, desirable residential areas. Recreation, environmental protection, and commercial revitalization are key issues. The Schuylkill River Trail needs to be completed in the Wissahickon, Manayunk, Upper Roxborough, and Shawmont Valley neighborhoods. Protection of environmental and cultural assets is an issue in Shawmont Valley and Upper Roxborough. Continuing the successful stewardship of the Wissahickon park and watershed is an ongoing need.
