The Norris Square area of West Kensington is bordered by West Berks Street to the south and West Dauphin Street to the north, North 5th Street to the west and North Front Street to the east. The neighborhood takes its name from Norris Square Park, which was land that was granted to Isaac Norris by William Penn. The park was created by Norris' heirs in the 1840s as a public green.
