Upper Northeast Philadelphia is a suburban-like area located along the Bustleton Avenue corridor. Walkability, pedestrian safety and traffic calming are important issues. Public transit is needed to relieve traffic congestion. Existing bus routes are widely used by students and local workers alike. Commuter rail is available at the Somerton, Byberry and Philmont stations.
