The sixth annual Fairmount Fling takes place on Monday November 24, 2008 from 6 to 9 PM.
It will be held in historic Founders Hall at Girard College at 2101 South College Avenue (Girard & Corinthian).
Join us for a night of live music, delectable culinary delights from Fairmount restaurants, and exciting live and silent auctions that benefit the Fairmount Community Development Corporation. This is a great opportunity to swap stories with your neighbors, learn more about Fairmount restaurants and businesses, and support Fairmount neighborhood improvement projects.
This Year's Highlights include:
- Special Guests Mayor Michael A. Nutter, Councilman Darrell L. Clarke & Councilman William K. Greenlee
- Live Music by Ivakhiv String Quartet (members of The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and The Philadelphia Orchestra)
- Auction and Raffle Items including Southwest Airlines Tickets, Stay at a vacation home in Ireland, Dinner for 30 at Bridgid's, sports collectibles, theater tickets, original artwork, professional services & much more!
