SS United States Conservancy now has title to ship from Genting Hong Kong. Next challenge: Group will spend next 20 months raising millions for restoration.

Less than a month remains in a six-month option agreement signed with the ship’s current owners, Genting Hong Kong. Conservancy has the money to purchase the ship, but is still negotiating with the Environmental Protection Agency to finalize the sale.
