Would you like to have a community garden installed on your site, free of charge?
Urban Farming (www.urbanfarming.org), a non-profit, is looking for 1-2 sites in our community to install a 20' X 20' vegetable garden. They will supply the soil, plants, and tools, along with a garden coordinator, to help the garden take root. Each harvest will be free for everyone to enjoy, and growers will be encouraged to share their produce with neighborhood food banks. If you have 400 square feet available, for instance at a Church or community center (though not at an elementary or high school), and are interested in participating, contact seth@universitycity.org.
